Updates from the CoMutiny Garden

Snapshot from Sunday December 10th 2006:
...'we've about fifty bags of healthy soil, dozens of helpful "henries" a.k.a worms thrown in for good measure! so we should be on our merry way towards making the first couple of beds soon. we're going to have a go at designing a permaculture garden during the week so watch/post here if you'd like to get involved. the scope is endless as ponds, compost bays, raised beds in crazy shapes and forms, fire pits, benches and a shelter for us to duck away from the rain are all features we can add. have a think of what you'd like to create and let's carry on the co-mutiny! as well things like water butts, palettes, planks of wood or any odd end bits, tools are all going to be very very handy over the coming (forever i hope) so keep an eye on your local skips or join your nearest freecycle group - www.freecycle.org.. we'll try to go on a leaf collecting mission on tues afternoon so guess we'll meet at larc. we'll decide a time between now and then. keep well,'...

'On Monday November 19th a bunch of us began clearing out the site and bringing some soil in and it's already beginning to look much better, but there is still a lot to do. A group workday will be decided on, probably Sunday, though it's important to get as much done as possible in the next two weeks whilst we still have access to soil.
Pictures to appear soon!'
